Siena and San Gimignano driving tour

Your first stop is beautiful Siena, roughly an hour from Florence. With your guide, enjoy a 1.5-hour walking tour around this gorgeous little city, passing through its romantic streets and charming piazzas. See Piazza del Campo and visit Siena’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Your tour continues to San Gimignano, a tiny city that has survived the centuries. Hilltop San Gimignano is famous for its numerous skyscraper-like towers, frescoes and other art treasures.

Visit Dario Cecchini, the famous butcher and chef in Panzano. Descending from a long line of butchers, Dario has created an macelleria where the family shop once stood, before being destroyed during the war. As well as being a butcher, he is also a creative chef, promoting traditional food. His shop attracts tourists from around the world, buying unusual cuts of fresh and prepared meats.
